Walter Manning and Savannah Olsen opened Old Faithful Shop last May to offer furniture and accessories with a utilitarian aesthetic. Trips to Copenhagen and Portland, Ore., helped ignite their appreciation for heritage brands and heirloom products. “Both cities never forget their past but are modern at the same time,” says Manning. Likewise, Old Faithful’s inventory reflects the historic ruggedness of Vancouver.
